May 1, is May Day – International Worker’ Day!

This Thursday, May 1, is May Day – International Workers’ Day.

Born out of the historic fight for the eight-hour workday in 1880s, it is a day for all workers across the globe to stand together in solidarity in the fight for our universal rights.

Postal workers are just one of the groups under attack from an administration that is hell-bent on dividing us while they enrich a tiny number of giant corporations and billionaires at our expense.

People across the country are organizing May Day rallies to protest. Will you join them and carry a sign to support our public Postal Service?

Here is the organizers’ call to action:

Trump and his billionaire profiteers are trying to create a race to the bottom—on wages, on benefits, on dignity itself. This May Day we are fighting back. We are demanding a country that puts our families over their fortunes—public schools over private profits, healthcare over hedge funds, prosperity over free market politics.

We hope you will take action and spread the word that the U.S. Mail is Not For Sale!
