The U.S. Postal Service® is enhancing the mail experience with Informed Delivery, a new notification service that gives eligible residential consumers the ability to see a daily preview of letter-sized mailpieces that will be arriving in their mailboxes soon. This optional, free feature allows users to view grayscale images of the outside of their letter-sized mailpieces on a computer or mobile device.

Nationwide Expansion of Informed Delivery
Informed Delivery will be activated, in waves, across the U.S. between now and late April 2017. Expansion will occur at the ZIP Code™ level, beginning with select major metropolitan areas, meaning an entire Area or District may not be activated at the same time.  Offices will be notified when their ZIP Code is enabled.
