DEADLINE FOR WRITTEN NOMINATION ACCEPTANCE:

Written nomination acceptances may be mailed or faxed to the union office. Mailed or faxed acceptances must be received at the union office by 4:00 PM on Friday, September 30, 2022 in order to be valid.


ELIGIBILITY TO HOLD OFFICE:

Nominees for the office of the President must have been members in good standing for two (2) years prior to this nomination meeting.

Nominees for ALL other offices must have been members in good standing for one (1) year prior to this nomination meeting.

Persons who performed supervisory duties are not eligible to run for office. Honorary and associate members are not eligible to hold office.

Retired members are not eligible to hold office unless they pay full membership dues. In accordance with Article 7 Section 6

Candidates for craft director positions must be members of their respective crafts.

In accordance with Article 7, Section 7, three (3) trustees shall be elected.

Section 504 of the Labor Management Reporting Disclosure Act prohibits persons convicted of certain crimes, including robbery, bribery, extortion, embezzlement, grand larceny, burglary, arson, violation of narcotics laws, murder, rape, assault with intent to kill, assault which inflicts grievous bodily injury, and violations of Title V of the LMRDA, from holding office for 13 years after conviction.


LOCAL UNION ELECTION BALLOTS SHALL BE MAILED NO LATER THAN OCTOBER 18, 2022.

BE SURE THAT THE UNION OFFICE HAS YOUR CURRENT MAILING ADDRESS TO RECEIVE A BALLOT.

DEADLINE TO REQUEST A DUPLICATE BALLOT IS NOVEMBER 02, 2022.

IN ORDER TO BE COUNTED, BALLOTS MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE LOCAL ELECTION COMMITTEE BY 11:00 AM, FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 25, 2022.

ELECTION RESULTS SHALL BE ANNOUNCED AT THE GENERAL MEETING ON NOVEMBER 27, 2022.
